If you people have been in this thread since the beginning, you would realize that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I'm with you 100% @BLUTRD Mat has even said something about reducing tip in.

 

Yeah, the squeaky wheel is the hundreds of trucks with 04B03, 04B02, etc. that don’t have the performance tunes

Has anyone compared 87 base and 87 performance? Mat said 87 performance only changes at higher rpms. Wondering if I should bother...

Correct, Mat has said he will release a softer tip in version so no need to bring it up everyday.

 

Yes, but he has said it, so have some faith in him because he does deliver. He will make the tunes with less tip in, but he’s probably devoting energy making sure all the ECU IDs are covered so we can all enjoy the tune and not just a few get what they want

Maybe OVtune is not for you. Try ECUflash, there is a thread about them and maybe you'll get special treatments over there.

Sigs dont show up via mobile unless you turn them on in the preference tab. Try using the "desktop" view and itll show

 

@OVTune for dongle users, since PCMFlash uses pcm files and the only stock tunes I have are bin files, does that mean that we'd have to use the previous version of PCMF to flash an OEM file, if we ever wanted/needed to? Or is the new PCMF included with FM capable of identifying and flashing bin files as well?

 

Not sure it matters anymore @mZiggy IIRC you flashed the TSB 04b13 so there is no "going back" to previous stock versions. The new FM has the 04b13 stock file I deleted all my old tune files including the factory "stock" file that were prior to the switch to 04b13 so I wouldn't get confused.
