He does some crazy one off stuff for people also.

I did the paint on these pieces myself as I like to do as much as possible on my truck.

 

I did them on the truck, just taped the surrounding area. any overspray will wash right off

 

I did mine. I scuffed it up with a sanding sponge, rubbed down with alcohol and sprayed it with Dupli-color truck bed coating. I kept spraying light coats until the can was empty... maybe 7 coats?
It looked great for a while but then it started showing chips from maybe highway debris? So I re-sprayed it with another can and it looked pretty good except you could see where it was previously chipped.
Fast forward to Summer where it got pretty hot and it started bubbling everywhere. I was tired of the cheap "ricer" looking results so I just bought a Cali-raised faux pro grille.

I see you blacked out the emblem on the steering wheel, how did you do it?

 

Nice look. I have the same all around. Be aware that they do exacerbate rubbing if you do eventually get wheels and larger tires. I have them along with 4Runner TRD Pro 17" wheels and 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. There will needed to be a lot of trimming, hammering, and cutting to prevent rubbing.

Nice. Get some black Gorilla lug nuts and compete the look. Don't go with the cheap eBay/Amazon lug nuts.

I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I do have a lift so they are 285/70/17.

 

I can get some better pictures tomorrow if you need them. It’s a Covercraft UVS100. I had This one in my ‘17 and it’s a good enough fit for me on the ‘19. I’ve been using these since my first Tacoma, a 2004 and have no complaints. Yes you need to put the Visors down.

 

Installed a 2 inch front and 1 inch rear lift. Wanted a small and level lift.

Going to that much trouble for the bhlm I’d say absolutely get the retro! Do it once… that will be my plan hopefully soon

 

Installed an Eibach lift kit with an Icon AAL. Kept the stock overload spring and added a 1/4” spacer on the drivers front. Great ride, similar to stock. Also put on some Depo Pro taillights and a Meso Stage 1 Total Tail Kit, but I’m having a problem with one of the DRL/Brake bulbs which I’m going to try to address in the morning.




I really need to debadge the door emblem. It stands out like a sore thumb now that there’s no other chrome.
