0% interest on new Tacomas with Toyota Finance

Not bad man! What region of the US you in?

 

Montana, so I imagine it applies throughout the northwest region or however Toyota has this area covered.

 

I’m Mid Antlantic/ Northeast region I guess. Haven’t heard of that rate around here, but you never know. I’ll do some checking to see.

 

Might be a good idea to check it out. I got approved for a pretty good rate through USAA, but not THAT good.

 

Yeah I have USAA also. Had them for like 17 years. I researched their rates and yeah they aren’t that great unfortunately.

 

I got 2.9 in the Northeast but I have an 833 score.

 

When I bought my 2017 rates were a joke. 4.99% @ 60. I have a 800+ credit score too. Ended up going to my local credit union and they gave me 1.47% @ 60. Pisses me off when they do these 0% deals and you miss out.

Oh well... only $20k left on the loan. Should be paid off in 2 years. Then I’ll keep it for a long long time

 

That’s cool, but you can only qualify for what Toyota is offering unless they attempt to beat a deal you got from an outside lender. Score is good to have, but if they don’t have incentives at TFC, they will only offer what is available even if you score is high.

That’s why getting your own financing is actually better so then you can still use the cash back incentives etc. plus that gives Toyota a number to match or beat to get your business. I would rather have my own financing and call the shots.

 

This is what I did. Credit Union gave me a 3.07 smart certificate. I didn't tell Toyota and that's what they came up with.

I was at a SoCal dealer yesterday and was quoted 2.9 for 72 thru Toyota fin plus 500 president rebate and 500 college rebate
