Sorry about this morning guys. It was a long night. Ill spare you all the details but Ill try to summarize.

    Too windy to camp.
Exercised a last minute "alternate" plan to involve "a cabin" offered by people I had never met.
Went to said cabin with NO cell service for miles before arriving. Subaru got stuck.
Spent 2 hours winching him out on the way to said cabin.
Finally get there and think all is well.
    Windy AF.
Ran out of fire wood at impromptu cabin resort that has already been winterized so had to pee outside.
Froze all night and barely slept. Woke up in the morning.
Tried to leave to hopefully still make it to the trip. Subaru got stuck again on a section I had to give holy hell to get through.
Finally got him out after another hour plus.
Very little sleep if any. No way I could have functioned safely on the trial today.

I hope yall had a blast and everyone makes it home safe and didnt get stuck. Till next time!

Damn dude. We all kinda figured it went something like that. Sorry you froze and had a bad night but glad you made it out okay.

Switzerland trail was pretty tame and not a ton of snow, so we made our own fun getting stuck on the spurs and snow bashing up hills. We helped a jeep out ended the day with me snapping a cv axle being stupid. We all made it off the trail safely. @JasonLee has most of the pics so stay tuned in the trip reports thread.

Well I’m glad all went as well as it could. I felt bad not making but couldn’t let anybody know until it was well past the meet up tome. I hate I missed it but after I thaw out and get some sleep, we can start planning the next one.

I sent it into a snow drift with the front locked and got stuck, then I had the wheels cut full driver and tried to back up and it just blew apart the CV. Had I turned off the locker to back up I doubt it would have broken.

I really would say it was "stupid" we were sending it trying to plow through a 4ft snow drift and it broke while he was trying to back up.

I was 2ft in front of his truck and heard it go along with seeing his tires camber being super off. Had a good "that doesn't look right" moment

Eh...I feel like I should know better than to have the front axle locked with the wheel at full tilt...that's a lot of stress on those CVS without the axle locked.

Also NAPA axles on 35s :anonymous:
