@TXTaco13 did you recently say you had SPC ball joints go bad on you? What were your symptoms? I'm experiencing a weird creaking sound when the suspension is compressed. I put the truck on a jack and shook the wheels and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. LCA and LBJ looked ok along with the tie rods. Ball joints have been greased and I have no free play in the UCA, but still feel like that's where the noise is coming from. I've replaced the ball joints before so these should've been the "updated" version. I'll probably replace the ball joints this week for peace of mind before Mega Run.

First set I had popped when the suspension flexed. The updated ones(second set) leaked grease out of the top and bottom of the bj (at the fitting), I was told was normal for the bottom of the bj.

    Squeaking, or what?

My ball joints squeaked and caused all kinds of racket until I lubed them.

I just greased them with my last oil change, but it couldn't hurt to so it again. It's a popping and creaking noise depending on what's happening

On my first set, I apparently overgreased them and the boots swelled. Replaced those and then later I had noise in the passenger side ball joint and had up/down play in the ball joint when I pulled down on the arm. I replaced both sides and everything was good for awhile. Both sets have always seeped grease from the top and bottom.

I can hear the sound more inside the cab with the windows up. It's like a creaking or groaning noise as I go over undulations in the road. The only popping I get usually only happens when I start to back up from a parking space and I start to turn the wheel. I know SPC offers warranty, but it might be time to look at some other UCA options if these won't stand up to the abuse I put them through.

Psshh... probably helps when you barely drive the thing. That parking lot at Cowtown Brewery is the most off road action your truck has seen in 2 years.

Do what I did, buy a better brand, warranty the bad set, switch them out and sell the SPCs.

That's probably what I will end up doing. What arms are you running now? The Dirt Kings that @Steawy27 runs seem pretty beefy.

Is that a recommendation? Originally I went with SPC since they were cheap and would solve the alignment issue after the mild lift on my daily driver. I never planned to do as much offroading as the truck has seen. At this point, I realize it'll get abused, so I don't mind shelling out more for a higher quality product.
