I welded up my alignment tabs tonight. They look like crap since I haven't welded in a while and it's hard to do lying under the truck in a barn. BUT, it's done and they are definitely sturdier than they were. When I get home next weekend, I'll hit them with a little Rust Oleum and take it in to have the alignment finished.
Man, I have got to get a lift and a welder. I figure a few years down the road, I'll remove the existing tabs and added boogers (amateur welds) and weld on a good set of alignment tabs. For now, they'll have to do as-is.

 

Absolutely. Allowed my lowers to move about a half inch from where they were set.

Installed my Jumpers LEDs dtrl mod. For any of you who want to do this, here's a little tip for putting the wires in the plugs. If you bend the wires over the end of the plug just a bit and slightly bend the prong for that hole upward(like 0.5 mm), it helps keep it in place and doesn't push out when you plug them in.

Also, I had no trouble doing this without disassembling my dash.

I'm not super confident about how tight those wires are in the plugs, they're kinda loose feeling so I might try some epoxy or something to keep them in there. I'm going to try to upload a video later if I can.

EDIT: If anyone wants this mod, contact @csjumper2003 and he'll price it out for you. Yes you can do this without his kit, but if you don't know how to do much electric work his instructions really help.

Or make a bleeder bottle with a length of tubing and an old water bottle.

Tubing to fit the bleeder valve...some brake fluid in the bottle....tubing into the bottle and fluid (very important it stays in the fluid) to make sure you don't suck air back in while you're pumping the brakes.

It's 549 miles one way for me so it would be 1,100 miles round trip if I ever did make the drive. I want the sliders but I really don't want that drive!

I'll be taking a picture of the video on the screen tomorrow. The top is currently blocked a bit by the swingout, so I think I'm going to angle the camera down a bit more later.
