Ah! Sorry! I think the picture is inaccurate on their site. I do not believe those are actually glare capped as shown in the photo. I would cancel the order or call to confirm.

You might be more interested in what I am working on for yellow/amber fogs starting in post #378 over here. It is a work in progress over several posts but includes a comparison to the amber Rigids.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...1-not-led-or-hid.435419/page-19#post-19670372

I’ll edit that comment as to not cause confusion to others.

I'm checking now. Should have some time to check the other post later today. Thanks!

Edit: Called rallylights.com and the checked the bulbs they have on hand, no glare shield. They admitted the picture on the website is incorrect, and will be working to fix that. Cancelled my order, and will be monitoring the other thread and searching for amber H11s.

You might consider the Xencn 2300k H11 bulbs. I’m running the H9 version of these in the other thread. You don’t want to run an H9 in the stock fogs though due to no glare cap. Xencn is an Osram China company.

XENCN H11 2300K Golden Eyes Super Yellow Fog

Another option would be Lunex H11 2300k Super Yellows.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0751CDPR5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_VghzCbKB21ZY5

Xencn uses a more efficient interference filter, whereas Lunex uses a more standard absorption filter (yellow coating). I’ve got the spectrum profile posted over there.

I haven’t touched base in a while. I know the initial batch didn’t meet color spec and they had to do another production run. All I know at this point is soon.

I bought a set of DeAutoLED fogs that can switch from white to yellow and have a strobe function. They are really bright, and I love the options.
Problem: my truck had the crappy H16 fogs, and these bulbs don't fit correctly, don't lock in, etc. I need a set of housings built for H11 LEDs. Obviously I am posting in this thread because I would like the correct beam pattern. Anyone have recommendations for just the housing/lenses?

Actually I was asking for recommendations on a projector housing to get a decent beam pattern. I see I have touched a third rail here. I shall leave this thread and bother you no more. Sorry, and thanks.

Gotcha. Here are H11 projector fog assemblies, they dont specifically mention Tacoma but if you cross reference the vehicles with those listed on the Ta
Coma TRS page for Morimotos, you’ll see they should fit. These will eliminate the glare from LEDs but you will still have the loss of projection issues associated with using an LED in a halogen projector. Although these are much more forward facing than the TRD fogs.

Actually they read like they’re more secondary headlights than fog lights. Interesting...

Right, because the projector doesn’t project to the sides like a foglight to cover the shoulder, which is somewhat the main point of a fog light. I found these when looking for new assemblies before deciding on the Subaru housings.

I tested what I believe is the previous version of the Lexus LED fogs, you can see the results in post #222 here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...fog-light-review.554813/page-12#post-18568605

Looking at Toyota's LED fog performance with the earlier Lexus LED fogs, and the TRD Pro Rigid fogs, far higher performing LED units exist in the aftermarket. I'd recommend the KC G4s for stock like appearance and best balance of output intensity, width of beam pattern and quality of light color. If you purchase the Lexus fogs and would like me to test them, I'd be more than happy to, just like the member did with the other Lexus LED fogs linked above.

Came here to hopefully see an update on the Baja Designs SAE fog but it looks like they are delayed to at least June. Also still nothing on the Rigit Ambers eh? I got some square holes in my bumper that need filling! :D

Thanks for sharing! Seems both Baja and Rigid have had setbacks. Haven’t heard anything new on the Rigid release date, but they are more tight lipped. Look forward to when they are both released.

After living in Phx for the last 20 years, I finally had an opportunity to drive in weather that it was obvious the need for amber fogs.

I was literally driving at night during inclement weather and thought "Damn, I should have gotten the Amber fog's when they were in stock"

Gonna have to add them to the budget now.

So I spoke with a Rigid rep on Instagram last week and they said the amber SAE fogs will be launching by April. Crossing my fingers this happens.
