Not as a ET thank god. Im standin a OS watch right now, and have a normal work day. I am so glad i didnt go OS when i joined. (esp when i learned main thing they can do outside is dispatch)

I don't currently work in IT, no.

Trying to get some certifications to eventually work in IT. Working on my LPI certifications right now.

 

DOD stuff and sensitive products. No cameras allowed in here

 

Nice, i thought bout getting into IT. since a lot of civie jobs require it with their ET jobs.... Still not sure i want to do that though when i get out. That will be 20 years in a field for me so ill have the knowledge, jus tmight be bored by then.

 

Yeah, I intended to to IT before I joined the Army. Was going to go to college for Computer Science type stuff. I figure now I can get my certifications and then my security clearance will help fill whatever gaps I still have.

 

boooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! haha. I use to work on a piece of gear that was classified. We looked it up on Wiki and what would you know. a bunch of the stuff listed was "classified'. I blame selling our stuff to other countries for that.

Dude, besides my new bed at home, i think the thing i look forward to the most is nice soft TP.... atleast this boat has 2 ply. last boat had 1 ply see-threw sand paper...

Yes they are. they are even more awesome when you come cross a birdel in the middle of the ocean. (Birdel= bird on turtle). I use to pick them up on a fire control radar. so random 100s of miles from land and seeing a bird just standing in the water. then you get closer and see the turtle just chillen

dude its rough. i hate it, but gives me something else to look forward to when i finally transfer back to land. and with current orders, ill be on ships for 7 years striaght before that happens.

 

Lights just went out while I was taking a shit; luckily the generator kicked on in like 3 minutes but being in the basement of a 110 year old repurposed armory with no electricity isn’t pleasant.

 

That is legit one of my biggest fears.
