Land sakes alive, it looks like a great day for racing here in Georgia! I'll be a little north of the speedway at the dome for Monster Jam.

 

Participation awards package begins today... And I'm in the stands...

 

This is an F1 parade.... 90% of the cars taking the EXACT same line every lap...

 

I've said it before, they need to cut the down force, not add more.

 

These cars drive to easy from what I am seeing in person. What y'all seeing on TV?

 

Pretty much the same thing. That's the problem, they drive too good and all are about the same, can't pass. They need to make them drive like shit, make the driver get up on the wheel and man handle it.

 

I see JJ out to lunch.... Almost like he cant manhandle the car to the front

 

This package sucks. The fastest car in the field has a speeding penalty on pit road, gets in the back and can't pass shit. What a joke. Fucking Nascar, we need more down force. Unbelievable. Like said before, just like a damn F1 race.

 

Looking forward to the drivers comments after the race.

 

The lapped 17 car keeps Truex from the win!!!!

 

Just imagine when the aero ducts get added at vegas....

 

That was frustrating, then watching how fast Truex caught Brad and then couldn’t do anything with him.

 

Well, I'm going to Las Vegas a chance, if the racing is the same at Atlanta, I tune in and watch the last 10-20 laps of the racing. I will watch the short tracks and road courses.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY NASCAR THINKS THEY NEED SOOOO MUCH DOWN FORCE.

Of course. DW said it was great. But we all know, nobody can say anything negative about Nascar. Harvick was asked what he thought of the new package and he avoided the question, never said anything about it. It's total shit, worst package ever.

 

I wish all the big name guys would defect to sprint cars.but then again, all the big money would ruin it. Money ruins everything fun.

 

Carl Edwards was a big advocate for less down force. Then he up and retires, either he knew what was coming or he got pushed out. Hmm, makes me wonder sometimes.

 

I missed the race. How did it look on TV? I feel like they never capture the true excitement of AMS on tv since they zoom in so tight on the leader. All the good stuff is the slipping, sliding, and drifting midpack. Monster Jam was meh at the dome. Seats were 3/4 full and not a very exciting crowd. The new 2-Wheel Challenge is pretty dull.
