Anyone have firsthand experience with Tom Woods Driveshafts? Likes, dislikes, durability is now a huge concern for me.

Known of many Jeep people swearing by them. Good quality construction and materials with good engineering. Do it!

I probably will I’ve been reading up on them, may lose minimal ground clearance on the shaft but I won’t be going that hard again. I know exactly where it happened was it to the left where Dylan damaged his front. Can’t remeber trail name cleghorn or greenhorn

Was it, I was just following but we first heard the carnage following this pic, is that’s the one it def holds up to its name claimed 2 Driveshafts also.

I had a ‘97 Dakota 4cyl 5 speed. Definitely a different type of truck than my Tacoma but it was fun to drive and very reliable. If I remember correctly it didn’t get the best gas mileage. I want to say around 17 mpg.

Off to Discount Tire to fix my right rear.

 

Yes, that is the last ledge at the top of Carnage Canyon i believe. We were doing the 101 class at the base of Dino Falls which is the trailhead to Carnage. I've backed off that same ledge when I seen that my driveshaft was contacting before for rear tires. Gotta know when to say "Uncle". @CedarPark likes to use the "safe" word "banana". If he says "banana", that's all his butt can take. Honestly, have never seen him use the safe word.

 

I remember the 101 class an you asked me to drive in some ruts. Ok didn’t know the trail name. Well @CedarPark you were there an seent me do it. Love the safe word
