I mainly did it to replace the 195K diff that was in there, I got 5kish of road trips this spring and didn't want the stocker to blow up on me. Plus a slightly deeper gear to match the tires.

Use a 1/4" extension. Most are spring steel and fit tight in the spring collar holes.

My buddy got some fixtures from HD/Lowes that look like those old fluorescent tubes enclosures. They put out a good amount of light.

I grabbed 3x 4 foot FEIT daylight fixtures from Costco roughly a year ago and put in my 2 car garage. More than enough light and they were cheap. Me personally it is the daylight aspect that really brightens it up.

Bought it in OKC with 180K. Drove to Cabo, MX and Glacier NP (Canada) on different trips last year. It's my road tripper, Keeps the miles off my 5th gen and is IMO more comfortable.

Another vote for Costco. My housemate bought several LED / housing lights that are the same size as fluorescent tubes. Lit up our dark basement quite well and didn't hurt the power bill when he'd leave them on 24/7 and not be in there.

Another vote for Costco, I can get pricing on pretty much any light know to man from my old contacts in the electrical world, but the light output and price of the Costco LED’s is hard to beat

Costco is great for gas too, almost always the cheapest. I drive a lot for Uber and Lyft so that’s a good benefit.

    Stuff. Also things.
    Same here.

I have a single costco 48” light in my one car garage and it made a huge difference. I love it. Super inexpensive too.
