Only negative I have had is on the Tacoma after about 75,000 miles on the tires there was a
vibration between 35-45 mph. Thought is was the front drive shaft or front wheel bearings or front diff, but was the tires after I got new tires every thing was perfect again.
Even after balancing them 3 different times it would not go away.
On my Tahoe on the other hand had zero issues with these tires and they lasted 95,000

I'd say that's pretty good for a 50,000 mile tire. I would definitely be happy saving the 1-2 mpg, because with the bfg's and my snug top, my truck gets like 4 mpg less than what it should :)

I wheeled the hell out of those tires for a while when I was driving on the road a lot. They're nothing special to look at but they never punctured even with multiple wheeling trips

Rode fine but hell they're basically street radials

Cool, be sure to send pics when you are done. I have some improvement ideas for the cage. Happy to share those before you commit to a design.
