    Thanks, I hope you are right. The goal for today is just to get the primary pump online so I can continue to drive the truck. The secondary boost referenced pump I can set up next weekend.

    Can you think of any reason why I shouldn’t bypass the stock fuel pump resistor? Why not give the pump full voltage all the time? I wonder if they do that for less pump noise at idle or something.

    Wouldn’t be much work to try out your exhaust idea. Even better, I’d like to somehow integrate two cats into the @Roostfactor y-pipe (maybe by lengthening it some) and change the merge from a 3” out to a 2.5” out.

    Because unless it's rated for continuous duty at full voltage, it needs that resistor circuit. Or it'll burn up.

    As for the exhaust, I'd stick with the easiest portion first. Add a flange on to the inlet of the muffler, and the other half of the flange have the reducer attached. dynafit needs more of what you want it will be easy to adapt then to that, as you lined out above.

    I have another idea I may try to quiet the exhaust more. URD header, JFR y-pipe, merge/flex/cat all 3" then an 18" long 3" inlet to dual 2.25" outlet muffler. This will mate to dual 18" 2.25" mufflers.

    The merge has to be there for the exhaust tuning effect but splitting the exhaust again after the merge theoretically will help to attenuate sound because it's easier to silence a smaller diameter exhaust. Since we will have 2 2.25" mufflers it should flow equal or better than the single 3" because csa of the two pipes combined is bigger than a single 3".

    Magnaflow also makes an offset style metal spun cat which may work well if youre wanting to seriously modify the y-pipe.

    The right rear bracket has me baffled. Either my truck is different or they sent me the wrong bracket. Also the outboard mounting holes are a good 1/4” off from being able to put the bolts through the holes and successfully engage the holes in the frame @Cruiser Brothers

    No idea WTF they are talking about in the instructions with the right rear bracket. In the end I decided to modify the bracket and weld the damn thing onto the truck and drill new mounting holes in the bracket and the tank. Also had to elongate both of the outboard side holes.

    Tank is mounted and hoses are all attached. All that’s left is to run the pump wiring to the engine bay and to hook the -8an line to the fuel rail.

    I ran out of 3/4 split loom. I ordered some more and it should be here tomorrow. So maybe I can get this thing running and check for leaks tomorrow evening.

    Of course I'm biased but I thinks so big time! Rasp is eliminated and overall sound is lower but it is tough to really quiet a 3" performance exhaust. Sound is also very subjective, when I was down in Houston I gave a few guys a ride and they all said my truck was almost too quiet....but I want it quieter. Drone is a whole other animal all its own and many factors come into play on what causes drone and at what frequency it occurs.
    I want to test more but have work to do....customers waiting.

    My truck is very quiet, almost too quiet. However, the y-pipe/TRD CB was setup for the upcoming headers install. Zero rasp and zero drone, which is what I like.

    I can't wait for the final results. :thumbsup:

    Working on it. Went outside tonight and got the undercarriage portion of the fuel line and pump wiring all routed, secured and ran up into the engine bay.

    Just need to figure out how to access the fuel rail input with a blower in the way. For now I might just tap in at the junction where the hard lines end. I need to figure out which of the lines is input and return. They go back behind the engine and its too dark to see at the moment.

    I'll have to check with AEM to see what their specs are for that.

    Since I don't have a spare under the truck, there's plenty of room after the axle for add'l mufflers.
