Curious as to the light output, wonder if they will get covered with snow though since they are LED and so low.

Yes. If there is snow, and it is sticking to the front of the truck, the LEDs will ice over. This is a common issue with LED lights.

Sorry about the delay! We got quite a bit of snow here and it took me a while to get moving on these. Sooooo.... I don't have any tools for measuring lux or output, but, I will say they provide a much better color output and appear to be brighter than the factory fogs (though not as much as I was hoping). They do provide a clean and crisp cut off, and spread light to the sides quite a bit as well, but when combined with the cut off, they don't glare into the eyes of oncoming traffic.

My one big concern with them, is fitment. They snap in, but even when adjusted, they seem to have a lot more wiggle than I would prefer. I will post up some pictures here shortly.

These are all pictures (except the last one) of fog lights ONLY. With regards to the two driving pictures (sorry for the blurriness), 1 is with fogs only, the other is with fogs and headlights.

You have been warned... the last two pictures really are trash, but I had them in my phone, so I reluctantly included them. Additional pictures will be provided this evening.

I'll be sure to get some better road pictures. It was a crappy attempt, on a bumpy road:bikewhoops:. I'll do better this evening.

For the price, do I think they are worth it? Yeah. I'ts a lot cheaper than going with housing adapters and led cube lights. But, I'd bet the cube lights would put out a lot more light than these. They are better than stock, they look nice, the color is great and I'd consider them if you're looking for a budget foglight upgrade. Maybe you would get a little better fitment (less wiggle) with the Morimoto LED fogs, but I'm sure with a little hot glue or tape to shim the lights, you could get them fitting a little better. The truck won't fit in my garage and it has been snowy and cold here so I havn't messed with them much after installing. I'd also be willing to bet that considering how similar they appear to the morimotos, that you wouldnt gain much more output choosing the more expensive morimoto lights over these.

Thats the other reason (besides cost) that I didn't want to run the cubes for the fogs. With how rounded the bumper is, I feel like they stick out like a sore thumb in that bumper. Once I have an aftermarket steel bumper, then I'll run the cubes.

Were these pretty much plug and play? Did they mount in replace of the OEM without any extra modification?

Almost completely plug and play. The only work you need to do, is push the wires into the included connector (basically an unassembled pig tail). The wires on each light come with the metal prongs crimped onto them. They do not have them slid into the connector though. You will need to use a test light to make sure you get polarity correct. Once you establish correct polarity, just slide the wires into the plastic connector in the corresponding hole and they will lock in. Now, simply plug that into your factory harness.

Not sure if you have ever assembled a pigtail before, but its pretty simple. Just take a good look inside the connector, and you will see what orientation you need to slide the wire in, in order for the metal prongs to lock into the connector.

Those look really good to me. My stock ones are best to hell, so these may be a welcome upgrade soon!

I have the electrical skill of a 5 year old :( I can easily plug some wires in and test for the polarity though. Did the housing mount in same as OEM?

lol It's really, really simple. Don't fear it too much. And yeah, they pop in just like the OEM ones. Direct fit. Like i said, there is a bit of wiggle with them, but I'm sure with a little hot glue or tape, you could easily remedy that. It's just been too cold and snowy for me to want to crawl back underneath and attempt to improve them. It's on my to-do list as soon as it warms up. I'm pretty happy with them overall though.

same here. My old ones (besides being too dim and not having a pleasant color temperature) were getting pretty nicked up and faded. These look really sharp too.

Awesome thanks! I posted on here the other day with my fog light issues. I'm flirting with the idea of just upgrading them all together to LED. I'm having issues with the connection of the plug to the bulb and i think it's the wires going into the plug itsself. But same as you, it's too cold to be out and fussing with it right now. Thanks for the info!

I'm on the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. I order stuff and try and get home to the packages before my fiance does, then just install the parts when shes not around. If she doesn't notice the new parts, it never happened...right?
