55W should only be used off-road, your headlights need to be re-aimed, which takes 3 minutes per light at the most, you won't get a "line" unless you have projector headlights. I don't know what is going on with the shield, but my guess is that there is a shield but your lights are just too bright in general.

So if you run eyebrows it won't make a cutoff like a projector?

Those are with projectors. I don't think eyelids would do the same.

 

Actually I was thinking he could lower the lights and use eyebrows to control the glare but with 55w that's probably useless. I was thinking about this for my car. That way I could point the lights back up where the brights shine farther than fogs and the lo beams wouldn't be blinding anyone. That's why I brought it up here thinking it could be of some help.

eyelids are 80's bra, just use flat black krylon on the top and bottom and BAM you got the projector line.
