yeah that is why you sell those nice parts to someone trying to restore a truck so you can use that money to beat it up! Unless you are trying to restore it then i would say keep it. It would look good with some skinny tires and white steelies!

I have almost 2” between the platform and the truck; I’ll be mounting a slide out tabletop to the underside once I make it.

Replacing both ball joints didn't eliminate the noise I'm chasing, but suspension is a little quieter anyway. I was changing my oil at the same time and ran out of daylight, so I'll take another look tomorrow. I need to replace a bolt on the skid plate anyway. Maybe I'll find the skid plate is causing some of the noise I think I'm hearing. I know it rattles just a little bit. One of the rear 12mm bolts got cross threaded in the nut that's tack welded inside the frame. The nut broke off the frame and now I'm having a hard time separating the bolt and nut. Not much room for tools in there with the LCA installed. This is a fun one to try to fix.

Another thing I'll check is the radiator/body mounts as mentioned here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/body-mount-bushing-install-now-with-pictures.432885/
I have the radiator bushings in my stash of parts, but not the cab mounts

One squeak I chased for months turned out to be the rubber grommet on the hood that comes in contact with the core support. Dab will do ya and it went away.
