Who all is going to Atlanta Takeover this year? Was thinking about seeing if we can all park as a group and maybe getting some kind of Georgia Tacoma’s banner...

@Atl_taco_ You said you've done the OVTune right? How easy to install/flash/update/etc. is it to do on a Mac? I feel like I read its designed for PC use, but can be done with a Mac.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
GOD DAMN IT!!!! I was about to score another set of TRD Pro wheels, same as on my truck to outfit the trailer.

If someone scored some wheels out of Decatur GA, you lucked up because the seller is a complete asshat.

If they were your wheels (David of Decatur) and it was you that burned me then F you kid!

That being said.. all of you that barely know me, I apologize for the rant.

Well it’s very possible I would have sold you some wheels..but not now.
Had a deal done, contacted the seller multiple times..he was out of town, said he would contact me when he returned.

Never gave me his number, he had mine. Yada..yada, he sent me an email and said. “ I never heard from you yesterday, so I figured you did not want them”

I said, you have got to be either a child or a dumbass. I contacted three times, gave you my number and said I was awaiting you to get into town.

Haha people are douche bags these days man.

Toyota appears to be blowing these out. Probably a wheel redesign looming. You can get a new set for $675 shipped right now. I’m sure better deals can be had if you know a dealer. That’s just what any joe blow can get right now.

You got a link to the 16” for $675?

I am just having a shitty day. Started off with a guy stealing one of my Stihl weed trimmers at 8:30a.

Those still look to be around $775 shipped. Not sure if that includes the center cap or not. You may can find them cheaper elsewhere.

Use promo SHIPFEB for the free shipping. The others discounts apply in your cart automatically.

That is shitty man. Sorry to hear that. Stolen tools can be more than just an annoyance when they support your livelihood.

I use a PC, super easy and he's making it even easier with the new flash manager. I see people use Macs in that godforsaken thread but it seems easy. Some kind of windows emulator, not too sure about how that works. I really dig the responsiveness it adds to the truck and the cruise control works so much better than it used to. I use it a lot driving to south florida, when the truck used to drop into 4th for an overpass, it'd about drive me crazy. Waiting for the 1.05 performance tune, right now just on the 1.05 base.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried to follow that thread in the beginning, but it moves so fast and is littered with useless content. Makes my head spin. I’ve tried searching the thread to avoid posting a question, but even then there’s so many trash posts to wade through.

The tax season sale has me thinking on it. Just need to figure out the computer thing. It’s definitely on the ‘to-do’ list for 2019.

After adding my steel skids, I can feel it. Having a little more control over shift points would be nice. I’m kinda wishing a went aluminum since it’s my daily and I mainly got them for those ‘oh shit I shouldn’t be here’ moments.

I’m liking what I’ve read about the shift lock too. Makes things as close to a manual as it could be without actually be a manual. My wife shot me down when I told her I was getting a manual when I was truck shopping so this could be a game changer for me.
