Any SBR recommendations for a lefty? I have the scorpion with ambidextrous controls which are great but the ejection port on the right is throwing brass down my shirt and sleeves like crazy.

They're the future I think, same way they are for rifles. Easily doubles effective aimed range

Not on a carried handgun. Green is higher energy, therefore lower battery life. I like to just leave a dot on 24/7 on a carry piece, and a battery that doesn't last a long time adds a "thing" to worry about.

But not the effective range of the pistol.......

    2 plus 2 equals 7?

Waiting on my P07 mill/cerakote job, gonna run an RMR Type2, AIWB in an Alpha Concealment Gryphon with a PL-MINI. The new P10 optics ready variants have caught my eye though as a cheaper and less finicky setup.

Most red dots have come along ways and some have 30k hour battery life. I still don’t run them on a carry pistol though

Makes mine seem boring. Factory Gen 4 G19 with T-Rex IWB holster. Simple and efficient

For sure it does. Taking standing shots at a 100 yard target with a handgun is rough even with nice sights. An RMR/Venom/Viper/Deltapoint Pro makes it much easier to achieve a clear sight picture and place shots.

I ordered a Cajun Gun Works Pro Package for my SP-01, a new set of punches, and scheduled the appointment to have my frame cerakoted.

It's a bit much to carry sometimes, but a dream to shoot, and appendix carry makes it vanish in a way I'd never believe. It's my only handgun and therefore fills all the roles as my competition piece and defensive carry. Not that I haven't seriously thought about a P10C optics ready to shortcut the whole 9 yards and go straight to a factory setup, as opposed to my milling and CGW improvements to my P07.

And the batteries never go dead on iron sights.

Some people with vision issues are have luck with pistol red dots. They aren’t for everyone but they do serve a purpose

I only decided to go to it after doing a ton of talking with a guy who EDC's a G19 w/ RMR. It's on 24/7, he changes the batteries on his birthday every year, and it's not died in 3 years. I understand distrust in unproven systems, but they've been pretty proven in the last few years.
