All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I hear you on that. Do they put their tune on sale?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I have the tune but in a 2nd GEN, so I guess that doesn’t help. The OV customer service is a little rough but he is catching up. I think he is really turning the corner with sorting the 3.5L.

It’s on sale right now for tax season. And he did a black Friday sale last year. I honestly haven’t followed it enough to know about other sales or it those two mentioned sales are typical.
That’s good to know. I never knew about ovtune even I had my 2nd gen.

This month is super crazy or I'd be at the camp out for yall to try. Have to run to Florida Wednesday through next week. If you're on the fence and didn't get the latest TSB or want the performance tune, I would go for it.

It’s an incredible event. I won a $250 gift certificate for a Prinsu roof rack last year! They gave away roof top tents, awnings, Yakima roof baskets, arb fridges, all kinds of stuff!

I didn’t know it existed and I’m really excited now lmao. I was thinking maybe it was another import show(I have an rsx as well and have gone to a lot of the shows in Atlanta) but then saw it was Toyota exclusive and now I’m hyped.

When and where is this taking place? I am out of the loop, or I live under a rock.

I might be interested in going this year. Work and ticket pricing dependent.

Can any of my north GA fam recommend trails and/or camping in or around the Blue Ridge area? We'll be up that way Saturday afternoon/night and would prefer to camp somewhere, preferably somewhere that isn't RV accessible if you know what I mean. Would also like to hit a trail or two Sunday if there's anything worth paying attention to.

I purchased my car (from dealership) at around 47k miles about a year ago - approaching 60k in the next coming months... I've seen some 30k - 60k - 90k maintenance threads, but curious of y'alls experiences. I planned on taking it to dealership, and have them give me a list of all the things they recommend I do, then see what all can be done myself. Can you guys think of the easiest things worth doing myself? If it ends up being a lot of stuff, I may try to end up paying someone on here in cash, good beer and food to make a day of it!

The minor stuff, easily doable at home: oil change (every 5k), tire rotation (every 5k), grease the drivetrain (5 zerks on a 4x4, I do this every other oil change), air filter (~25k if i remember right), cabin air filter (every ~25k).

Also doable at home: spark plugs (every 30k, but I changed mine at 50k and they were fine), differential & transfer case fluid change (every 30k, I still need to change mine).

If I recall that should have you set. Youtube and a basic tool kit will let you do everything you need without paying a ton of money for labor at a shop.

I won a 250 CBI gift card there last year in the raffle, it’s definitely worth the trip for anyone contemplating

There’s some stuff in the cohutta wilderness area but that may be a stretch for you. The best trail that they had got washed out and they haven’t fixed it in over a year so I’d say it’s probably not coming back.

Gotcha, doesn't Suches have a trail or two? I feel like I've seen some mentioned on here before.

We may just end up hitting the Chattahoochee forest and driving until we find a nice campsite.

You can check out Cashes Valley. It's a fun little trail that can be finished one way (you have to turn around and the end) in about 30ish minutes. Lots of creek crossings so with all the rain it may be deep
