    I hear that sand blasting stuff blows. Plus it’s a huge mess. (Ask me how I know, lol)


    So now I just prime it pretty good. And spray paint. If it gets scrapped I’ll just repaint. It’s not a show truck. Or for me, show motorcycle, or whatever.

    Some stick on chrome from pep boys
    For sliders I use three coats of Ace brand self etching primer. Followed by three coats of Ace brand black semi gloss. I like their spray cans better as the nozzle isn’t a pin point spray type like most others, but a bit of a fan type allowing for more even coverage.

    Powder coating sliders is just a waste of loot because to touch them up gets expensive. Mine were done as I’ve described and touch up is simple using the same materials after some sanding to prep the surface.

    So I emailed Mobtown today about the possibility of them bringing my sliders to TN with them. Joe, the owner, responded by saying he will try but wasnt sure how much room was going to be left in their trailer. So once again I'm not getting my Hope's up but send good thoughts!
