Can always have @In4aride build a set and I can weld them on.

Ya the 1st pic is their shackle flip kit.

The second is their HD Hammer hanger.

Wish you had the Hammer hangers for sale, but here's a bump for you.

I was thinking all you need is leingth, that way you can make most of it, then I can weld on the legs and onto the frame

Since I don’t have a tube bender yet...

I’m wondering if it’s worth wile to bent and weld a cross tube from hanger to hanger to stiffen the factory stuff

Archive actually sells a cross tube (obviously if you move the spare tire). I guess there is a bit more torque on the frame with a longer hanger that might make it worth it. But on the other hand, as much flexing and twisting as one of these trucks goes through if it is used as it should be, even with factory shackles, it couldnt be a bad idea to have one. When I eventually order a swing out bumper and move my tire, I will definitely put one in. Cant hurt.

Id rather have a plate on both ends and bot it in though. Would be easy enough to do.

For some reason I am still hesitant on welding sliders onto my truck. It still easily returned to "stock" other than ride height from the OME suspension. It would be much cheaper to get sliders on the truck already before I get some body damage though ... I can spend more time later on grinding sliders off and repainting the frame if it matters that much. Maybe I'll start doing some CAD (cardboard aided design) / water pipe insulation measurements to get an idea of what I'm hoping for. After seeing the kickouts on @bot102 's sliders do a pretty good job, I think I do want kickouts. Before Sunday I was just thinking of non-kickouts to keep the truck lean and just protect from slamming down on a rock.

Also, after seeing your truck's frame flex while you were winching reminded me that I should really pop off my bed and box it in before I toss a camper and/or rear bumper on my truck and have all that extra weight. I was noticing my truck flex quite a bit when I was hauling down washboard in Death Valley in October with just a normal fiberglass shell and pretty lightweight camping load in the bed.

    Brilliant!

I once had to have a frame plate cut for mounting the IFS steering box to an 85 frame in a dang hurry. So I took one of my fabricator buddies a template made from a Bud Light box. Turned out perfectly!

I go back and forth, some want bolt on to be able to resell later, others what to take off to paint. But are you really gonna take them off?
Do you really think your gonna resell the truck in “stock” foarm?
And I deffinatly say kick outs. They have helped me a lot with different turns/rocks/ even a step

Yeah I caught that after a little closer look. I added the get-out-of-jail-free phrase of "EDIT" at the top though.
