I love it, but it was my first time building a sub box and i was working off of a build for a 10" sub so i was basically just winging it. It does the job, looks ugly as shit tho and the center console has to be propped up to prevent the sub hitting it during hard hits.

The acc wire is what's called a remote on it's so the amp will only draw power when the keys are on just like the radio. Your going to have run a new wire from the battery with a fuse to the amp. The stock power supply wire wont be big enough for a aftermarket sub.

The only wire that's going to do you any good in there is the acc wire as you need to still run a ground a power supply and rc cables

No the speaker wires will help me. I am going to install a Kicker PT250 which uses speaker wires instead of RCA cables because I would like to retain the factory head unit.

I'll try to get a picture of my setup in the morning. Its not shaking neighborhoods but gives me the full range I was looking for

 That would be great. I am trying to decide where to put it. I think I will just use the rear drivers side seat.

You are an access cab right? I have amps under both my seats and a box that slides between the center console and rear seat. Also access cab

An amp for my subwoofer and also a 4 channel amp for the 4 speakers. Not necessary, but cleaner and louder to run them off amp rather than the head unit

I am going to upgrade to Kicker tweeters and speakers sometime during the summer probably. Do I have to install an amp to do that?

The tweeters will wire right into the same place as the factory ones, just maybe strip some wires and stuff, metra sells connectors for toyotas on Amazon that clip right in and you put on your own butt connectors to go to the speaker terminals. Kicker tweeters are eh, i was more impressed by the jbl 1 inchers.

Here is what I have. Sorry for massive pictures. The seat is forward all the way in the picture with the amp, so when it is set normally the amp is hidden completely

Good to know. I think I will just order those if they are better than the Kickers. Thanks!

I ordered the box from SoundOffAudio, the guy is really nice and will work with you if you need anything special done with it. There is a few that are made for 2nd gen access cabs. I like having a sub and still sort of having the backseat.
