Are you talking about my signature?
I have your old wheels mounted up with the snow tires currently and this afternoon I took the tread depth gauge to my BFGs. I realized that they are wearing a little more in the center since I bumped up to 42psi. I was running them at 35psi when I was not living at 5,000-8,000 feet. Seems as though I overshot (and combined with most of my mileage this last rotation being heavily weighted on the rear with gear made my rears wear more than the front)... I think on my next set (if I stick with them), I'd go about ~37 psi for unloaded and for road trips bump the rear up to 39 or so.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not questioning which is stronger. Or weather bolt on or weld on sliders are better. It’s more of in general.

I dont intend to have the whole plate welded. I just want to do 4 or 5, 1" welds on each side. Insurance.

I spent about 30 minutes trying to comprehend this technical specification and made no progress. I think I might withdraw my application lol

My sliders were welded on until I had to cut them off to get a new frame. I only went bolt on because I didn’t feel like tearing in to that nice new coated frame. If I find they’re not strong enough I can always weld on later.

Send me that shit so I can see how crazy the job market is currently... I took a 75% pay cut for my current job and not being able to afford a supercharger is bumming me out...

    What hasn't been modified?
So this design stops the flex?
Just because of the top gussit? Or cosine the angle that welds doses and bottom of frame?

Haven't you guys been paying attention?
It's the concentrated point loading at the top corners of the mounting plates.

Isn't there also a concentrated point on the center of the square tubing leg?

It would stiffen it up. But too much?

Assuming .120 wall tubing I’d thing that point wound show signs of failure before the welds
