Could you make the bar reversible? Install it one way for a bottle opener and flip it around for a straight bar.

    I’ll try but I don’t think so

    Taking a poll:
WHO would rock a piano finish?
Something like piano black, glossed Barcelona, or super white.

It’s the Friday night, smooth slacks out to dinner remote fob. Or the mall edition.

BTW For any geeks that want to know plastic, it’ll be a polycarbonate PC+ABS structure. Similar to plastics found in OEM applications.

This is where color matching is going to get tricky. Trying to match injection molded plastic to automotive paint with clear coat is going to be challenging. I have color swatches of every Tacoma color, so we are going to shoot some plastic samples and hopefully get close to matching.

Stormtrooper’d out would look kinda cool

I have a white Tacoma and would never consider a white key fob. It will look nasty after a while from dirty and grime. I guess I don't get the matched fobs anyways, its not like its a fashion item. Mine stay in my pant pocket 99% of the time unless I'm unlocking/locking my house. Flat black is what I want with the bottle opener.

I agree. I will be making more flat black models than any other color as it will probably be the most common. But I also want to offer some unique Colors to add to your pieces of flare.

That's a very good design! Are these pictures renderings? Great software if it is. This must be for the 3rd gen. I hate my key fob for the 2nd gen it too is bulky and I grow tired of carrying it and the key around everyday. Maybe you could include an auto-start button as well.

@mesojdm, do the magnet the opposite way, like the cell phone mount, machine a pocket for a thin sheet of steel, then place a magnet on the frame of the truck. If the plastic is thin enough the magnet should grab the fob? :playball:

I’m unfortunately not a fan of this design.
