The Michelin's I had before, were much smoother/quieter.

 

I'm running General Grabbers at the moment and they've gotten louder after about 5-6k miles. I don't care too much except when my wife tries to talk to me. Lol.

 

I'm still trying to find an AT that handles wet roads like Michelin's do.

Terra Grappler's are not it.

 

I've had really good luck in the wet with my Grabbers. We'll see how long that lasts through the life of the tire, but so far I have no complaints with grip. They perform well offroad as well. Was very impressed on the rocks and in the mud at Windrock. And for the price, I'm more than pleased with them. My set was $600 of Ebay plus 80 for installation at Firestone.

 

I jumped over from the Tennessee forum, I grew up in Birmingham though. Curious, do you have a picture of how much the sag is when the bike is loaded on the hitch? Ive got my topper on my taco and was considering using a hitch mount to haul my bike to the trails. Any pictures you have would be helpful!

 

I'm not expecting the same performance as Michelin's, but I'm tired of spinning my rear wheels every time its wet.

 

That's not a tire problem, that's a supercharger problem

 

Michelin's didn't spin like the TG's do.

 

That's a steal! Not sure your experience with bikes, but I've owned two DRZ400s and done pretty much everything you can to both. If you have any questions, I'd love to help.

 

I think lighter will likely spin more.

General makes a good tire, but too many have been unhappy after 10k.

I have plenty of tread left on the TG's, so I have time to do more research.

You'll be fine. I had my appendix removed via lapro about 20 years ago. Its a super easy recovery.

Terra Grapplers on a Z71 tried to kill me once. Rear end stepped out into oncoming traffic going up a mountain in the rain.

@BamaTaco56 I remember you mentioning you did Hurricane Creek trail up to Max Patch at one point. Me and my wife are wanting to plan a trip up to the Smokeys at some point and I want to take her up to see Max Patch after you telling me about it. How was the trail getting there? Probably try and go during the summer if that makes a difference.

Makes sense. Shame Toyota has not beefed up those tabs. Arsenal hobby shop used a come-along to hold my wheels in position when they alligned my truck when mine were bent over and basically not functional. Got the same Total Chaos ones also soon after.
