hey guys, just curious what the widest tire size that can be put on the stock 2019 OR wheels? I'm wanting to upgrade to some wider tires, (ones that stick out a little more) however do not want any rubbing issues AND don't want to put on spacers.

I might end up switching out the OR wheels for the TRD Pro ones ones (they look like this)
however i believe the offset and size is exactly the same as the stock OR wheels correct?
post pics of what your setups are, like i said really don't want to run spacers or do any modifications, just want a little wider look. thanks

The more poke on a wheel, the more the tires rub. The stock wheels are actually better for fitting wider tires, unless you're cramming something crazy big. But then you're cutting everything anyway.

Have Tacoma Pro Wheels and run 285/75/16's. Wouldn't go wider than that. It's only a 16x7" wheel

Also the offset is +12 where as the OR wheels are +25, so they poke out 1/2" more than the OR wheels (total of 1" wider track).

Not now. Had to put a heat gun to the plastic fender liners to massage them a bit, and one little tab on the back side of the fender at the bottom I had to cut off (not noticeable from the exterior).

I just read your whole setup, you have a 2' lift and 1/4 inch spacers tho.... :annoyed:

A long, long time ago I had a K5 Blazer with 25 inches of lift and 49x21R17 tires on 17x9 inch wheels. It actually looked like a perfect fit with a 21” wide tire on a 9” wheel. Ideally, I would have gone with a much wider wheel but I got the tires for a steal and at the time, 17” wheels were widely unpopular and finding one wider than 9” was hard and very, very costly. I was also a broke high school kid.

I've been told the 285/75/16 will rub unless you do minor cutting. I'm wondering if you saw these on a TRD PRO taco? because if it was a PRO i think those have a different suspension setup then the ORs do.
