I didn’t see that mentioned. It only instructs the tech to check for a leak and a gap between the housing and the sheet metal. If these conditions exist, the tsb then instructs the tech to proceed with the repair.

just go to small claims court....a little more effort on your part, but the dealer cannot have a lawyer involved......and at that point they maybe willing to take care of it....can you imagine them having to show up for court and have to wait for the case to be called.....thats a better option than an attorney......lots of time consuming trouble and cost for the dealer

I picture the day when the state sends the conclusions document that says that with all information provided, they are unable to determine whether the owner or manufacturer is at fault.

Then you send a certified copy of that letter to the dealer and manufacturer stating that you are satisfied with the states conclusion which determined that there was insufficient evidence to assign liability with you which the law as written requires if a claim is denied.

In laymen's terms....The dealer and manufacturer have not sufficiently made the case that the owner was at fault.

    I will say t
I will say that this is disheartening. Denial of warranty used to be rare and due to obvious abuse.

Little of this, little of that.
How did this turn out for you? My 2017 just started leaking in the same spot.

I had issues with one dealer in Long Beach Ca (West Coast Toyota) saying that since they could not replicate the leak with their pressure washer, that they would not do the TSB. I went to the dealer in Costa Mesa and it was a non issue. I still filled a BBB report on the LB dealer... which I believe did nothing.
