What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I wouldn't.

I've seen several guys on NAXJA tried these and they were just trash.

If you are looking for less expensive, try Treadwright. I've been using them for something like 15 years without a single problem.
Just ordered a set for the wife and for my Tacoma.

 

Why were they trash?

 

Couldn't balance properly despite numerous tries, out of round, chunking and so on.

But then, another guy here says they are great. -shrug- I have no first-hand knowledge of this brand. But considering I can get these: https://www.treadwright.com/collections/filter?search_by_size=true&width=285&ratio=75&rim=16&range=, for just a dew bucks more, and I have extensive experience with them (and know multiple locals over the years who have as well), I won't ever.

EDIT: also, highly recommend the Kedge Grip. They make the tires VERY sticky in the rain (can't comment on snow as I've seldom seen it) without compromising treadwear.

 

Well that's pretty coked up, might be a good idea to make sure the PCV valve is functioning properly.

 

Ordered 4x Innovations sliders and the Budbuilt skids should be arriving any day now...

Pick up a new grommet and section of hose for it as well, the oil vapor turns the rubber to concrete haha

Yeah. Fortunately they do come with assembly instructions so the puzzle should be a little easier.

 

I've got a couple similar jigsaw puzzles that I've basically set aside until next year :/ Hope it all goes together well for you, if you need a hand with em we can organize a mod day or something

What did that front bumper run you after the Canadian $ conversion? I like that design

 

$600.80 shipped. Shipping was $114 of that.

Keep in mind they only sell DIY bumpers. That does keep the cost down of course.

 

Just about the same as my CBI DIY front. No instructions included, but several writeups and images on here, so no problem.
