So I finally got the 285/75/17 installed two days ago, rubbing was expected and I’ve got it to where it doesn’t rub anymore on plastic now it’s only rubbing on the cab mount, I have a pretty aggressive CMC done, it’s not rubbing up front at all. So my question is, is there a way to push the tire forward with an alignment ? This is how it sits now.

 

Yeah you’ll need to adjust for more positive caster. I’m running 5 degrees and no rub with the 285/75/17’s

 

Okay thanks that’s what I read on another thread just always wanted to as here since you guys are running the same size tires.

 

This thread is very intimidating, I want 285/75 but damn everyone is talking about trimming and heat guns and cmc.. sounds expensive and scary to do this on a new truck!

285/75 or 70 with -25mm wheels to get that stance. I foresee that'll be a lot of trimming..

35's next to 34's...34's look too skinny but great size

 

I’m just not ready to cut my fenders just yet lol

 

Even with 34's I had to cut fenders (2nd Gen). 34" is a good size though but seeing the front angle of how narrow they are...I couldn't get over it hahah! However I rubbed so much less with them

 

I haven’t had to cut fenders yet, thank god, I did have to trim and you know the rest but not fenders so far.

 

You got the 17x9 ray 10’s right?
