You dont have to go resi's. Unless you are really pushing through washboard/bumps/ect for long periods of time you arent going to get to the point of fade. Are they nice just to know you can? Sure. Totally needed? Nah. Espcially in a daily and espcially since you dont really have any idea on suspension (say that nicely since you are asking which lift to get), A nice Coilover, leaf pack, and rear shocks are going to be better than just worrying about getting resi's.

but thats just my opinion. Call Downsouth Motorsports, Headstrong (you already did though), SDHQ, or any of the other bigger shock places. They can help get you set up based on exactly what you want.

As for brands....Fox, Icon, King, Old Man Emu, Bilstein are all good choices and an upgrade over stock.

Ive honestly had good luck buying refurb phones off ebay. Just go with an actual store and not a user. They will offer a 30 day money back. But its how I have bought my work phones and never had issues.

Those are all over Ebay. Those and old G-shocks. Just search for "vintage casio watch".

Or just get a new one.

I agree. I did a 4 day long off road trip and we spent most of our time on FS roads and few spots we were going quick for a stretch and I had no fading with my non resi icons.

I think if you're doing like 40mph over actual washboards like out in the desert you might look into getting ressies, but at that point might as well just go long travel and SUA.

Another factor to consider whether resi's make sense or not are the tire/wheel combo you are planning on. 35" Load Range E on some Ray 10's? That's a 100 lbs per corner. In other words, that is a lot of mass to control! The same exact tire in a 285/75r16 on 16" Ray 10's comes in around 80 lbs. 255/85r16's on some F5's would drop down to 74 lbs. Still a lot of weight for either combination, but 25% less mass for the shocks to handle.

These factors are less important to a rock crawler than a desert runner. But for the most part, Tacoma suspension tuning is pretty much a "one size fits all" approach.

I don't remember having a casio like that but I did have this sweet pac-man watch when i was really young. I think there was a plastic joystick extension but they'd break or get lost.

Thanks. I got outbid on eBay and hoped someone would have one just laying around. I’d really like a G-shock but they can be $100+ and I’ll still break it I bet. Maybe I’ll just buy 5 Walmart watches

I got this G-shock mudman back in 2013 (it was $61 then). It's still going strong and it's my go-to camping/hiking/backpacking/shooting/travel/swimming in salt water and still need it to work watch.

I dyed the red buttons black like shown here:

Been daily wearing a Casio Pathfinder for around 10 years and it won't break. Compass, barometer, altimeter, and solar powered. I think it's 150 on Amazon.

    About halfway done...
Yes, I can host. Thinking of next weekend March 9th-10th.
I live in Lake Forest Park.
I don't get my bushing until this weekend.
Tools we need. Needle bearing pulling tool and bearing race install tool.
I think I have everything else.

Dude, you're rocking a Big Bang?

If I was in a higher tax bracket, I'd love to have an AP Royal Oak. I wouldn't cry about a Patek Nautilus either.
