Minimalist Key Fob Case

That means a lot to me!
I will be putting my logo on the back. It will be small, and at the very bottom so not so much "in your face". That way prospective customers can see where to get one like it!

 

i prefer matte black, TRD logo and no bottle opener

Maybe offer red or black buttons like the opener vs no opener. Being customizable is what I think draws a lot of guys to the AJT.

 

Idk, maybe a rendering would help, idk how two tone would look. But I think buttons would look rad asf

I’d be looking at black with bottle opener and grey lock/unlock buttons with the red panic. But all grey buttons would be just fine

What about screws on all 4 corners with flat bar on one side and bottle opener on the other?

That way you can serve everyone...and serve beer without your other keys getting in the way.

I’m in. Great design. I love the bottle opener idea. So convenient.

 

I carry my fob without the key (no keyring) in an effort to reduce the size. Looking at your rendering, is your design thinner and longer than the stock fob without the key?

 

Not doing screws on top. Adds length/bulk. I'm trying to keep it as minimal as possible. I will be testing out the bottle opener later this week...I don't think the keys will get in the way.

I'll probably shoot the buttons 3 colors; black, grey, and red. so people can take their pick.

STOCK FOB(NO KEY):61MM long(70mm w/ key) X 38.75MM wide X 15.75MM thick

MESO FOB: 62.5MM long X 31.25MM X 14.25MM thick

So for length..it's about even(with no key). But thinner everywhere else.

Edit.. after some calculations the stock fob(no key) is about 37.22 cubic CM, and the Minimalist is 27.83 cubic CM. or about 33% SMALLER!

 

You might consider making the buttons smaller and more recessed, otherwise there might be a problem with inadvertantly clicking them in your pocket.

 

Crossed my mind. I'll see how the final proto feels. If I need to drop them, it's a 1 minute job.
