    So here is where we are at:

    All of the changes have been made. Aluminum is being cut as I type this. We are coming out swinging with the standard rack (the one on my truck...which we will be giving away), an xL that goes full cab length (super tricks up the sleeve for the obvious issues), and the Topper/Bed rack. I am on the fence as to whether or not we enter the bed rail/rack as there are some awesome ones out there that our stuff would bolt right up to. So those decisions still have to be made.

    I'll get the updated information up here before it goes on our website as this thing really was born here and I wouldn't have made the leap into mass production without the feedback from here.

    @Doozy4212 has been instrumental in helping with the design and additions and his rig will be the first one outfitted with the xL rack for the cab and the topper rack. I'll just say if you were at Home Depot instead of on the trail and you wanted to take home some 4x8 sheets of something.......it isn't going to be a problem. If you have the cab and bed rack...you can take home 12 foot long somethings. :)

    Now if I can start getting input from you fine people about the attachments, brackets, etc...that you would most like to see? We have the MaxTrax, Rotopax and an Axe/Shovel solution. Will be working on a HI Lift that makes sense for all of us. What else would you guys like to see?

    Note 1: A Jerry Can mount is on the white board.

    52" straight bar brackets, which I'm sure you already got on the whiteboard. Then I'm sure similar brackets would be for the 42" curved bar. But that's just me and my crazy ideas.

    Oh, an awning mount maybe? Unless yours already fits nicely.

    We’ve talked via PM, but to put it here too. Some ‘floor panel’ would be nice for those of us that haul random crap instead of nice stowable rectangles or two-handed tools. This would be mesh or drilled panels that simply bolt down to the rails. Easy to toss mulch bags or other boxes etc. that get bungee’d.

    @Relic_Micah,

    Just one man’s opinion here regarding the topper and bedrack market. If you’re staying out of those to avoid diluting a small existing market out of respect for prior developers... I can respect that. But I’m a matchy-matchy guy. If I have three pieces, I want them to be from the same manufacturer.

    Ooh, how about abed rack dealio? Kinda like what KB VooDoo has going on on the max modular side, but compatible with the Diamondback covers?

    This is what had me thinking he was debating.

    Sorry, maybe misread that and I apologize. The topper is a for sure. We have figured out the short bed and are working on long bed. We have also talked to some local companies about a system to integrate with their bedracks so you could use our cargo basket on top.

    Hahaha. We changed the load bars for two reasons and one of them was to take care of this issue that you and I talked about specifically.

    Yes sir. By my meager calculations I've got around 80 hours in building, rebuilding, making, remaking, changing, remaking again, powder coating, grinding all that off to change something, throwing that part away and making another one........So if we factor that plus all the stuff I bought that I didn't use....I am going to give away the worlds first $10,000 roof rack. Lmfao. For Free! Mostly.

    I need to engineer some sort of a contest or something of that nature that promotes the IG page for upTOP and I think what I'd like to do is give the rack to the winner of whatever contest it is that we have. Down side: Social Media and I.......we are not the best of friends. I don't fully understand this hashtag world we live in. I'm old enough that it's a pound sign. Smh.

    I'll be running the xL version of our rack on the cab and the bed rack on top of an RCI bed rack system. The RCI guys are also in Colorado and I really love their stuff. I'd rather support them than try and make something that ends up looking a lot like their bed rack because it's.....perfect. Lol
