pulled this from the 5.29 mega thread
as you can see the 3rd gen manual with stock 4.30 and the auto with aftermarket 5.29's have almost the same final gear ratio in 6th 3.05 vs 3.06 but 1st gear ratios are much lower for the auto trans.
This means lots more torque down low and at hwy speeds the rpm will be about the same as a stock manual trans.
