Went from 2008 Rav4 to the Tacoma. Rav4 feels like a go kart compared to the Tacoma, low, zippy, less body roll. But I needed a real truck.

I like the bigger size and more space on the Tacoma

    You may :p

Not really my decision. 16 got totaled in an accident. Otherwise I wouldn't have.

I would not recommend my course of action to you.

Only Truck i have owned other than Tacomas was a Nissan frontier. Had it for literally 3 months before buying my 1st new Tacoma back in 07.

Didn't like the frontier much at all. Hense the short ownership time.

Went from a 2007 Nissan 2wd hardbody, to a 2012 Tacoma. 9 Months into the 2012 a ASSHAT was on the phone and T boned me and totaled it. Called the same was in a new 2013 DC Prerunner.

    I traded a ‘65 Chevy for a ‘75 Toyota Hilux in 1977. In 1979 I bought a new ‘79 Toyota 4x4. In 1999 I bought a Tacoma which I wrecked in 2005. I bought a new Tacoma and traded it last year for a ‘18 Tacoma.
So I came from a Chevy to Toyota’s in 1977. I’m hoping this one will last at least 15 years.:)

    Currently a 2017 Tacoma. Came from a 2016 Tacoma which followed a 2005 Tacoma which followed a 2002 Tacoma.

I miss the mechanical LSD in my 2005, otherwise each one has been an upgrade and only gotten better.

Had a love affair with my 2003 Tundra Limited 4X4 Stepside. The new Tundra I found to be just too big. My 2017 Taco is just right!IMG_0004.jpg

I came from a 1960 F100, 4sp, Y-Block. Drove the wheels off of it for a few years. I decided to experience a soft truck you know with a heater, a radio, and air conditioning!

The 1960 F100 replaced the truck duty of my 1959 Ranchero, 390 FE 6x2 carbs. :)

I’m long experienced expert at buying cars/trucks still learning the art of selling...I still own all of them. :D

First truck for me. I’ve been driving my dads 95 pick up for 6 months now. I decided to buy my own.

I like the shifting better in the pick up.
I like the smaller body trucks. I like the simplicity. Hence my beetle.
I bought the MT taco just so I could have one if they decide to discontinue them like other car makers.
I feel my family is safer in the taco, being a bigger car.
    I like all my cars.

Took me 2 years to find this original factory 4x4 with very little rust. Now that I have the Tacoma I am planning to get rid of F100 (need to thin the herd) my uncle says he wants it and is waiting for the weather to clear to take it to Oregon.

I came from a first gen taco. I miss the simplicity and size of my old truck. However, this truck is more refined, smoother, quieter, and a better DD.

The 50-56 F100 is VERY different from the 57-60 F100... I had a 59 2WD F100 for a bit. Brought it back from dead from sitting in my friends driveway for too many years. I got tired of smelling gas and exhaust all the time and didn't dump much money into it.
