Yep. NWA traffic is bad enough. I don't want to do Dallas traffic in my truck, much less a bike.

Actual cost at a reputable shop was $460 for rotors and pads on all 4 corners. Calipers did not need replacing and she said they laughed when she handed them the piece of paper showing all of the things the other shop recommended.

Post has been edited. Shop didn't "make it right" in my eyes, but I don't believe that they made any mistake other than not notifying me that the labor time was going to be double what I was originally quoted. I wanted to edit this and remove the name of the shop.

Did they give you a written quote? That's one thing I've learned about dealing with auto places, especially for custom work.

“Trust, but verify” The trailer will turn out awesome...just a little over budget.

I've got an Indian scout 60 and a scout bobber. The bobber is my sons but it's on long term loan while he's in Afghanistan.

The scouts are a cross between sport and cruiser. Higher revving motor than most cruisers and only 550lbs. For commuting, they’re fun.

Those are two slick looking bikes. I'd want to have one if I didn't live in Dallas where I'd be turned into a road pizza within 6 months
