In all fairness, that also depends on how your pedals are configured. Trucks are difficult to heal toe because of the spacing and usually the gas is so much further in than the brake from my experience, versus proper sports cars that are setup for proper heal toe

My first manual car was a 1992 Honda Civic and I drove that for about 7 years and when I got rid of it it still had the original clutch. I then got a 1999 Civic SI Coupe that was also manual. Unfortunately, that one was short lived because it got stolen.

My wife (girlfriend at the time) had a manual Civic too. We had that one for a fews years until it died trying to go through a puddle that was a lot deeper than what we thought. It had been raining for three days straight.

I would love to have a manual again, but the traffic where we live is to crazy for a manual. Now she drives an auto Pilot and I have the Taco. I will say, that I sometimes miss those days of driving a manual.

I'd drive without the wallet in the back pocket first. And maybe visit a Gonstead chiropractor for a bit

I learned to drive manuals growing up but my first three vehicles were automatics. They were a 2011 Kia Rondo, 2007 BMW 330xi, and a 2011 BMW 335is. While driving the BMW I wanted to get back into driving a manual again so I went with a 6MT Tacoma. I am so glad that I did because I am having a lot of fun driving it.

I now want to get an older BMW, the late 1990 or early 2000 models with a manual transmission as a nice Sunday car and every now and then commuter.

i hate the stupid anti rollback hill holder thing, especially when offroading up a steep dirt hill. Letting it roll back a bit to get a second chance at a ledge or slippery spot sucks now.

Auto, manual, pffft. What a big bunch of losers.

    OME and worth every penny.
I could still drive a worn 3 on the tree that gets tangled on every 1-2 shift as a daily if I HAD too, would hate though.

I love driving a manual. Both my fun cars are stick. Just didn’t want to drive one every day and my wife can’t drive one. So the Taco is an auto.

I mean, it was fine. Must've cost pennies to transfer it across the fwd autos and down the product line. First time it engaged was a pure wtf. Blocked an entire light of rainy Seattle stadium egress marveling at it.

First thing I told the salesman when I arrived was that I was looking for Tacoma with a manual transmission, he seemed surprised but I found a 2018 Toyota Tacoma double cab short bed 4 x 4 silver sky sport

However... the new Taco prevents rollback on hills and has synchros, so driving a manual gen 3 Taco is trivial. This is a Tacoma forum, right? ;)[/QUOTE]

it does? The New Tacoma MT Prevents rollback? I really really wanna see that.

    God I hate 10 speeds. I'll drive a 6, 13 or 18 any day. I won't even climb into a rig if it has a POS 10.
