I was going to do it to mine but went with a Sony unit so I didn't have to. I do have the OEM stereo in the closet though and for a price, I'd convert mine to whatever color someone wanted and sell it to them.

Yeah, I like them too. The spare is in the bed since I don't fit in the garage with it on, lol.

Steelies were my other option to get everything back under the flares :).

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. Actually, there are things I like about the SCS Stealth6's still too. In the end, I'm having to prioritize what's most important to me.

Initially when I got the SCS installed, I wasn't sure I liked the widened stance. Now that I'm back to stock...I can tell that I do really like the stance the truck gets with the 3.5" backspacing. Vin @SCSPerformance did really good work designing the wheels in that way for sure. As far as spoke pattern and color, I really like both.

But mud is a big deal for me. I was getting mud in the bed from both front and rear, and I was getting mud on the windows (or cab with the windows open) and roof and tent from the rear as they would whip it around and actually throw it forward. I very strongly considered switching to the '01-'04 flares, even going so far as to buy a set for the front (I couldn't find rears either) and it was better but not enough - the flat tread of the tires still protruded 1/2" or so beyond the flare. Super bummer.

Ultimately, I felt like - I always tell people to favor function over form - in the end, it's the function that makes a difference when you're on the trail. So, I took a page out of my own playbook and made the same call - at least for now. I've still got the SCS+tires just in case these new ones don't work out, so I'll give them a try for a bit and then make a call.

Helps not have hot spots with the projector. Lets the projector do its job and not a reflector thats not designed to reflect random light escaping the back of a projector.

Got everything sussed out last night as far as the LSPV delete. I have all the fittings I need, have to fabricate two interstitial lines (MC to MPV, and LSPV IN line to rear soft line) which will be much easier with the superior copper-nickle material, I'm just waiting for the new soft lines to arrive so I can replace them and bleed everything all at once.

I'm with you on blacking the reflector, but the best way to avoid light spill is to use aluminized duct-seal tape around the back of the housing where the light could spill. This is hidden by the surround.

    EDIT: this stuff right here:
