    Yeah. That was with the new motor along with cleaning the maf and intake and a tune up. So it probably wasn't just the tune alone.

    I think it might be the urd maf calibrator
    I hear ppl loose 2mpg after install
    I will probably go with the snorkel soon anyways

    I thought the purpose of the urd maf cal was tricking th ecu into closed loop instead of open loop to prevent strait dumping of fuel?

    Closed loop is the only time that the maf Cal is working. It optimizes af/r and pulls or adds fuel throughout the curve based on readings from sensors, but only when the ECU in closed loop. When in open loop, the ECU pulls from pre programed tables which you can't change without tuning the ECU.

    The factory tune is pig rich to begin with, and adding fuel in closed loop via the Cal, it affects mpg.
