I was actually told that you cant actually order the trucks like you want and have them built. Those days are over, I had a couple dealers tell me the trucks arrive at the dealerships and they have no say in what they get. Which kind of makes sense. you "ordering" a truck is basically telling then exactly what you want and them finding it and getting it.

It took me 2 months for a cement offroad access cab with premium package to be delivered within 6 hour drive of me (the dealership went and got it)

^ This. The window sticker on my 2018 DCSB OR says cloth on the main description, but since it has Tech and Premium that's listed further down, it overrides the standard listing. A picture of the interior shouldn't be too hard for them to provide. Make sure to also check everything matches before you purchase. I've heard stories of dealers willing to swap out wheels, front skid plates, or strip other trucks on the lot for tonneau covers, etc to make a sale, and the guy who's not checking or doesn't care gets the bad deal. This might apply to new though since everyone changes their trucks to make it their own.

Well yes and no, you can still order, but there are allocations for each region that wait to be matched. I ordered mine and had to wait about 4 Months to get it, the Dealer always kept in touch and even told me when the truck was gonna go down the assembly line.

honestly, those POS seats in the tacoma are a cruel joke, just wait and get a 20 with multi adjustable electric seats. Unless you never drive really far.

I JUST drove my new tacoma 400 miles to a work site, I was pretty bummed. Maybe my lexus and tundra made me soft.

(insert "that's just another thing to break", and "it's a truck dude, man up" here).

A turf wrapped in pleather is still a turd. if I would have known I would have waited a year
