    Ours is only a couple feet smaller than a regular ed bus. 2008 Thomasbuilt C2 Safetyliner Gen1. Ours is a hunk of garbage. In the shop all the time for various failures.

    I've always wanted to know if those were built on Freightliner chassis. The front end looks identical to the Freightliner M2 class:

    Yeah, they are related to Freightliner.
    We have Internationals, Thomasbuilts, Bluebirds, and Freightliners in our fleet. Even a handful of the Bluebird Propane busses, but only regular ed gets those. When I first started working here, we still had a couple old GMCs and one lonely Ford that sat in the spare line and never got touched.

    We have a few late 90s-early 2000s freightliners and internationals left. Here, they base the bus on your years. We were due for a brand new bus last year, but we still have 701. :notsure:
    I actually love the old internationals.

    Very nice. The closest factory to us is Thomasbuilt in High Point, NC. Probably why we have mostly C2s.
