    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
@Jibbs has this. Sounds great but does drone on the hwy from what I understand. I have a flowmaster 40 on my 2nd gen 4.0l. Is sounds good low in the rpms, and cant even tell it's there on the hwy. I also do not have a turn down pre axel which I'm sure makes all the difference

It absolutely doesn't sound like a cheap 4 banger. It sounds like a throaty V8 IMO, until right before rev limiter when it gets a little thin sounding.

The drone is perfectly livable unless you're driving for like 5+ hours then I imagine it would get annoying. I'm going to probably swap back on my stock exhaust to drive across the country this summer, for example. Day to day, the truck sounds amazing, and turns plenty of heads. And you'll make civics jealous, ez.

Also, no sound clip I listened to did justice to the tone. You just have to hear it in person. I have the turndown version.

I would personally do a Borla, sounds as close to a pro exhaust from what I see on TW.

The mbrp turndown definitely sounds way deeper than the black widow. I'm sorry, but I have to agree with the above, that black widow sounds like something I'd hear on an Acura. But if you like it, you like it.

Do yourself a favor and dont pay someone else to install your exhaust. It's literally two bolts and some muscle to get the hangers out. You dont even need to jack the truck up

I have the dual exit MBRP exhaust.
IMO it sounds better than the single exit.
Maybe due to it balancing the sound to both sides.
While loud, it isn't as overwhelming.

I also added resonator tips, that has eliminated most of the drone.
Replace the ubolt clamps with band clamps and high temp flue tape to stop all possible leaks.

MBRP sounds like a Honda to me. Especially when it revs up.

I don't know how to weld, and I am not going to attempt to weld. Black widow sells mufflers, they don't sell bolt-ons. I am getting all new piping for $225 including labor. Catback exhausts cost 200-1000 dollars.

Well, to each their own. Black Widow sounds like ass to me (the dual sounds better than the venom, which sounds like rattly rice, but the dual still just makes me imagine a rambro cummins everywhere). My MBRP was $200 off Amazon and all of 30 minutes to install.

I ended up going with a Muffler made-in house by the shop and not a black widow muffler. The muffler they gave me sounds just like the MBRP. It sounds great at low RPM, and like the crackle in between low RPM shifts.

I have never had an aftermarket exhaust before.... The drone at highway speeds is unbearable.

I am just going to buy a Black Widow Muffler myself, and replace the muffler I got from the shop. Black widow claims to have no drone.
