Yea we will see on Monday.. gunna pick her up.. I’m not happy at all with the work they’ve done so far.. i was a bit hesitant trusting them to do this. But they’ve been in business 30 years lifting trucks.. mostly DB kits and levels though, (it’s what most broskis do here in S Florida) i figured it’s all bolt on stuff. How much could they screw up?? Well FK me right?? Hopefully tomorrow will go off without a hitch..

Ok cool, had me worried. Is what I posted above a good deal from headstrong?

Headstrong has some of the most competitive pricing that I’ve seen.. they were about 300$ (On complete kits) less than most other places i looked.

I didn’t think much of it since I had only about 10 thread showing and I had about 1.5-1.75” of lift after it first settled so that’s pretty normal considering I do have 650 lbs springs.

They settled quite a bit, that was with them set up straight from headstrong as they had just swapped the springs out. But I did have about 1.5-1.75” of lift after install without any adjustments.

Anyone have a video of factory 2.5 remote res installation? Also want to know where I can find a thread count to lift ratio for the front coil overs. I have the standard 0-2 lift option.

Also, why did my factory 2.5 rears come with rubber hoses instead of braided metal?

    Thanks!!!

    Check My Sig.
You got 2.5” shocks not 2.0.” It’s a good thing.

Has anyone gone with 2.5 CO's in the front with 2.0's in the rear and regret not going with 2.5's all around?

Looking at doing 2.5 CO's w/DSC up front and 2.0 RR w/Adjusters out back.

I don’t want to say I regret going with 2.0’s in the rear but I should of done the smart thing of buy once cry once and just gotten the 2.5’s all around. Because now I’m waiting and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna go with 2.5’s in the rear shortly.

Not me but I’m sure it has been done.. Pretty sure the only downside would be that the rear shocks would limit down travel if you lifted the rear with a leaf pack. Should be fine with a AAL or block. Other than that it should be good.. but keep doing research..

I have a few friends saying that for what I do the 2.0's will be fine, I get the buy once cry once but that's a good 1k more for performance I might not need. Just don't know if the 2.0's are that much of a downgrade from 2.5's

I don’t know if they’re that much of a downgrade, I don’t off road all the time which is why I went with the 2.0’s to begin with, but now the more I off-road the more I want to and the more I wish I would have just gone with the 2.5’s lol

Ya I don't hit the dirt a ton but when I do, I beat on the truck. But I don't do anything crazy, don't even have sliders so it might not be worth it for me. I would think anything is better then the stock bilsteins?

That's on and off road no problems? Gives me some hope
