haha you're right and I might do that, I'm mainly just needing to LOCATE switches.

the DR light switch being the biggest pain in my neck.

I still think a second switch that far from the DR is weird. I think since it's simply 1 light that one switch over beside it like I have is all that is needed.

I don't have raised ceilings or anything out of the ordinary...trust me, you can reach the cords.

You don't have to give me your opinion to counter mine - you asked, and I am giving you suggestions from my experience of running an electrical business part-time for 10 years.

If you want pull cords on your fans, by all means use them. During a remodel, it is inexpensive and easy to add upgrades. But you certainly don't have to.

If you don't think you will have shadows with the can lights where they are, then by all means put the lights there. I have upgraded many, many kitchens with can lights, and never had a shadow problem installing them at the counter's edge. Again, just giving you a suggestion.

I appreciate that and I wasn't trying to counter lol just offering differing opinions. I will discuss all of this with the contractors obviously. I was mainly trying to decide switch locations.

thank you! i have been doing research on that today and wondering how to make that combo work. I really didnt want extra lights, but after ditching camp late in rain and fog and needing extra light to change someone's flat after they stupidly (and like an asshole) drove through the woods, i admitted to myself that my lighting situation is lacking.

And the drawers... i do still have them... ya want??!

    https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/pts/d/smyrna-decked-drawer-for-tacoma/6819809311.html

That's my craigslist post for you to share with them. I paid $1226.99 (ordered on 4/24/2018) as they include the locks for the drawers and the drain plugs. Drain plugs are nice if you want to fill these with beer and ice and be the coolest kid at the party LOL

Also, they sit under my topper, so not exposed to sun or rain. Nothing wrong with them, my truck is a total fatso and I want to drop this weight as well as force myself to have less stuff.

    Welcome. Nice truck!

Some things you will need to know on your journey through the Alabama Thread are:
    -Don't ask @stronghammer why he doesn't have a front locker, he's sensitive.
-when @JBTacoma types "want" but he really means "won't" think of it as accent via text
@Jerneyman can make skid plates and sliders for you
@BamaTaco56 wants to ride Choccolocco every time we ride
@TheTacoma is the most likely to get stuck, and generates the best footage
@whitedlite can answer air locker questions
If there is ever a global shortage of Mt. Dew @TacoAlaMode has a stash.

the best part of Chocco is you don't even really have to plan for it.

i would like to check that place out that @JBTacoma has been to in the samurai north of tuscaloosa.
