Is it me or the front bumper radiant red paint fades before the body. I also get red paint on my wax applier when I wax the bumper. Is it me or does it happen to everyone else? It's pissing me off

The worse colors to get is RED. . . The bumper and fenders all looked PINK to me. . . Very ugly.

I had mine repainted and it was well worth it! Its very shiny now and matches the rest of the truck.

Get it repainted or get a aftermarket bumper.

^ Yeah, but if you wait too long. The clear is no more and you're rubbing paint. Then you've gotta repaint. I don't even think they clear it to be honest.

Interesting point. I wonder if toyota used some kind of two-in-one paint and clear formula. I find my paint amazingly easy to scratch as well.

So no need for a new paint job, just do a clear coat? How much did that cost?

Everybody tells me that my truck was in an accident before I got it because my bumper is pink.

I just show them the pink door handles and then they believe me.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Red paint of any style oxidizes and fades quicker and easier than anything else. For red to have a long like you have to wax constantly to help prevent it.
