    Yep.

One thing to keep in mind though, the timing rotor is actually bolted to the crank inside the bell housing, and I have a manual trans. Perhaps that's why I have more crap on my sensor, as there are wear items in there lol.

I saw that pic in that document as well, but the timing rotor is actually at the rear of the engine, and the sensor is rear passenger side. UNLESS THERE'S MORE THAN ONE LOL

I love it when we're looking up vehicle info and their is more than one of what your looking for or incorrect information. Makes for a long day. Measure twice, Cut once!

I have a new crankshaft position sensor Recall) and mine still does it. I also have the tune. Mine still misfires at 1500 to 2000 rpm. Did you ever have any luck in fixing? This is extremely annoying.

So far, I only have one drive cycle on the new sensor. That drive yielded 1 misfire, which is an accomplishment for my truck. I’ll keep you guys posted. It may take some time though since the truck is rarely driven. I’ve had it since Feb ‘17... has 9000 miles on the clock

How long ago did you replace your CPS? I seem to recall there being a shortage of replacement CPS’s in the months just following the recall. On top of that, there was a lot of confusion over telling the original CPS from the new, improved replacement CPS. I suspect many owners had their bad CPS replaced with another of the bad batch.

TW has an entire thread on this subject.

Well, I have known O2 Sensors to fail and have incorrect readings due to mechanics applying too much anti-seize on the threads which accidentally gets onto the O2 sensors tip causing issues. Also, people have used the incorrect di-electric grease (di-electric grease with graphite modifiers) on sparkplug boots that has been the cause of misfires. I actually had that happen once. Lubed the inside of my plug wires with a q-tip before attaching them and next thing you know I had random misfires. Took me forever to figure it out until I saw that my parts counter was buying a different brand of electric grease and we figured out it had graphite in it. So, Maybe Toyota sourced their sensors from a Country that didn't have very good quality control. It happens.

@OVTune I'm going in tomorrow for my transmission service because I highly suspect my truck came from factory with low transmission oil. The other day my wife thought we got rear ended but it was actually a huge clunk shifting from 2nd to 1st which jolted the vehicle forward and after WOT on highway passing I could smell it burning. Should I be concerned about the dealer detecting the tune in anyway in case they plug it into Techstream or anything? It looks like they'll be performing a transmission fluid check, thanks in advance.

When the dealer connects they will see only OEM IDs and data, but to be safe you can flash back to stock. it's super easy to do

Kinda kicking myself for not updating to 04b04. Was hoping to try out performance tune on my trip to the desert tomorrow. Not enough time to do it before I go.

Figured I'd poke my head in here. I read lots of people not happy.

Love my 91oct base. This is what the truck should've come like stock.

91 base I'm very happy with. Just curious to try the performance version. I think more people are happy with it than the few unhappy.

Quite the opposite I think. Much much more positive response overall than the first version of 1.05
