    Installed some custom fabricated steps/ sliders on the Tacoma today. My son-in-law Jason does some great fab work, so I knew I had to have him do these for me. Next up lift and tires.

    judging by the 3 mounting tabs I would say they mount to the body not frame. very nice looking indeed. but I wouldn't go sliding them across rocks or anything.

    Completely Frame mounted. Used the cab mounts on the frame and some factory holes.
    Can be removed with no trace.

    So they mount to the factory holes under the rocker panel. Not the fram rails themselves.

    Actually do not touch the body at all, completely frame mounted, you can hoist the truck up with these.
    No fear rock crawling at all.
