First 4 toyotas were sticks. First two kids got beater stick cars when they turned 16 so I know they can both drive one. Now we have three AT vehicles. Wife has an Outback, me a Tacoma and last kid out of the blocks a beater Corolla but with an AT this time around. My Dads DD, below, was originally a stick but it now has an LS1 with an autuomatic (1934 Hupmobile)

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a thread on that already.

I've owned manuals my whole life until the tacoma. I originally wanted to get a manual but they don't make a manual in the config I wanted. After the traffic here I am glad I went with an auto. Even though I occasionally wish it was a manual.

Now if it's a sports car, then no chance it's an auto.

If I could go back in time I probably would have got the manual as I do prefer it! But it’s not worth it to me to take the hit to trade for a manual. When I get my FJ you better believe it will be a manual!

Haha no, in addition to being lazy I am also cheap so no lambos or ferraris, i would probably get a mustang and have fun on the interstate and long roads here, wouldnt mind getting to try out a manuel miata for a few days though and see how they handle, I was very very temper to buy a traded in 2007 low mileage mustang 4.6L 6 speed manual (with a great clutch) GT california special from the dealer at their cost but i felt they paid to much for it. Also im a ford tech so no labor charges on mechanical problems.
