As usual N. Korea is threatening war, but says this time it will use "sacred war" against the United States and S Korea if our government continues on with planned Sunday naval exercises off Japan. Nuclear war isn't something to throw around lightly IMO. Im sure our administration will continue on with the drills and continue to put our nation at risk with an unruly and unpredicatable military communist country as N Korea is. Wouldnt be very wise to laugh off Kim Jongs threats considering our economic situation and spread out military with our ghost hunt in the middle east. Any input on this news ?

We should stop playing with them. It's time to whip them off the map.

He does this like every other day. If we don't stay and do the drills it will look like we backed down to a crazy man. Even if they attempt something they will not get far with it. Everything about our military is better.

Lol, Kim Jung "ILL" is a sawed off , bipolar , paranoid nut job that has always talked shit . But trust me, IF he actually launched any pre-emptive strike against the U.S. or one of our allies believe it or not it would be China that would slap him down hard, N.Korea & its leadership has always been like China's half retarded kid brother that no one in that family wants to talk about or claim . .:D:D

in refernce to your question about the economy, a war with N Korea may be the best thing for it. Believe it or not the best thing for an economy is to go to war as bad as that sounds

Oh yes. We the citizens will be all in favor of war the first year or so. Then, everybody will start crying "STOP THE WAR! WAR IS BAD! GET OUT OF N. KOREA!"

Would you rather we all bend over and dance to their tune whenever they threaten to do something?

Kim Jong Il runs a bankrupt nation with one of the highest poverty rates on earth outside of sub-saharan Africa. He talks a lot and does nothing. We should continue on with whatever we have planned in allied/international waters, and if he doesn't like it, so solly.

Back when we actually had industrial jobs in this country, that was true. It isn't anymore. Most of our war machine is purchased from other countries or international companies that politicians have stock in and, perhaps, assembled here. Due to the heavy deficit spending required to fund wars these days, if anything they'll be the thing that brings our economy to its knees.

    X2!

It seems like he threatens us every few months, and nothing comes of it.
We don't need to stop the exercise, and we should continue as planned.

If he does something stupid, we will bomb the hell out of him and try to bomb him and his sons.....

I agree about the it was more beneficial when we were industrial economy. however i dont think it will bring us to our knees. i think it will still help the economy just not as much as about 50 years ago

Nah. All that military spending is debt financed. Saying a debt-financed war will help the economy is like saying credit card spending will help your family financial security. Yes, things will improve for a very short period...until the time comes to pay the reaper.
