I just saw that Amazon has a smittybilt RTT for 730 with free shipping. I think I know where my tax refund might be going.

I need a dedicated nymphing set up. Might drop to a 3wt for the wild Brooks and small browns

Lady at B&N tried to charge me $14 for that mag one time. She goes it says $14 right here. I had to explain it was a fly fishing magazine and that was poking fun at people who fish with bait. Still don’t think she got it. Lol

Uhg. What's the price limit on a nymphing rod? Mind you I'm looking at a 7wt switch later this year too, which I'm going premium with

Someone mentioned to take drain plug out first in case you have issues with fill plug

No. Take the fill plug out first. If you can't get the drain plug out, no problem(put fill plug back in and go from there). If you drain the oil(drain plug out first) and then can't get the fill plug out to refill it......no drive :D

The drain plug never sticks, It's bathed in oil. The fill plug never sees any oil, since its above the fluid level line, It will be the 1st to give you grief.
