Anybody ever have any local law enforcement tell you that you needed to put mud flaps on to cover at least half your tread???

That's what I thought. Guess I will be checking inspection laws this morning.

Unless he was referring to flares if your tires are hang’n out. On my f150 my tires hang out a tad but never been stopped or had issues at inspection. There is a law in pa about it tho.

Said I pulled out of my street to "fast". It's kind of a bind hill. So when you go you need to commit. No tire spin, no erratic moves. I just think he was bored. And after he checked my stuff he told me to put some mud flaps on and they needed to cover half the tread. I just nodded and drove away.

Tires do not stick out from under flairs.

Exactly what I needed at 6:30 this morning. I will say he did not give me a ticket. And my windows are tinted, to which nothing was said. LOL

Yup. After venting I believe this is my best coarse of action. If I get told again maybe I will look into laws, but for now I'm good.

Just checked inspection book. Nothing of that wording. Just addresses flares. And asked a Leo and said not that he is aware of.

Very similar situations play out all the time here. They move in and people are genuinely nice neighbors. They take advantage and wear out their welcome. I have nothing personally against the Amish. I just hate their lack of respect for others, and conservation.

Only thing people hate more than the Amish here is the place that I work. Luckily there's no Amish near my house, not enough tillable.

Nothing but plateau, valley, and river hill here. If it wasn't stripped it is extremely fertile. So they are also buying all the decent land and leaving the stripped crap for everyone else. They also pay $4500 cash per acre, so it is hard to compete with them. Market price used to be around $1500 /acre just a few years ago.
